These Celebrities Raised Cannabis Awareness with Awesome Brands!

*Medical Marijuana is estimated to be worth $22 billion by 2020 — and stars like Tommy Chong, Snoop Dogg and Whoopi Goldberg are looking to cash in.

Last month, Goldberg announced that she’s launching a medical-marijuana company with Maya Elisabeth. The company, Maya & Whoopi, will offer items such as cannabis edibles, topical rubs, and a THC-infused bath soak that is describes as “profoundly relaxing.”

Last year, Snoop Doog launched his own line of marijuana with an event in Colorado, and Willie Nelson announced his own cannabis company, Willie’s Reserve. In February, actress-comedian Roseanne Barr struck an agreement to open the Santa Ana, California, medical marijuana dispensary called Roseanne’s Joint. Here’s how they stand:

In March, Goldberg announced she was partnering with cannabis entrepreneur Maya Elisabeth to launch Whoopi & Maya, a line of medical marijuana products aimed at reducing menstrual cramp pain.

The stoner comedy icon’s product line, Chong’s Choice, includes pre-rolled joints, marijuana flower, called Chong Star. Smoke Swipe, is an odor remover than his formulated to specifically remove marijuana odors from clothing. He has also released his own brand of THC-infused breath strips.

Snoop Dogg

The Leafs by Snoop line boasts weed flower, cannabis extracts, and a line of edible “Dogg Treats,” including chocolate bars, lemon drops and peach gummies. Snoop Dogg has invested millions of dollars in a variety of cannabis-related ventures thanks to his venture capital fund, Casa Verde Capital, L.P. Among the ventures his fund has invested in are Eaze, a weed delivery service which was dubbed the “Uber of weed,” and Merry Jane, which was dubbed the “weed encyclopedia.”

The country legend’s weed, under the name Willie’s Reserve, is not yet for sale. The brand’s website promises the marijuana is “Coming soon to Colorado, Washington, and everywhere voters say yes.”

Wiz Khalifa

The Pittsburgh rapper’s own weed strain, Khalifa Kush, has already received rave reviews. Khalifa’s full product line, a collaboration with Colorado’s RiverRock Cannabis, is slated to launch April 20.

Wiz is one of the most famous marijuana proponents on this list, and has made some big moves to make some money off of one of his favorite activities. He teamed up with “The Cookie Co.”, a California dispensary, to release his own strain of marijuana called “Khalifa Kush,” which is a reflection of his personal preference when it comes to weed.

In addition to his partnership with “The Cookie Co.,” Wiz also teamed up with River Rock Cannabis to expand the Khalifa Kush line into Colorado, which has legalized recreational marijuana use.

Wiz has also teamed up with RAW rolling papers to create a line of pre-roll tins which feature 3D art, in addition to cones that can fit more marijuana than standard cones.

Most recently, Wiz filed trademark papers for cannabis-infused beer!
